This is a delicate and pastel beauty from India, 3.9 oz, 3.9” by 2.3” by 1.2” stacked pair of frosty, minty green apophyllite cubes with an antenna-like spray of slightly mauve tones scolecite off to the side as if the scolecite was “beaming into” the apophyllite. Her surface is mottled in pastel tones and when backlit, that wondrous green glow emanates from her.  Of all of the apophyllites, green is the most rare.  I just love the color combination of this Spirit – a study in soft pastels and textures that seems to be fitting for her wondrous energy.  Her base is a thin layer of chocolate brown and russet matrix that adds just enough grounding to her lofty energy.  Just wait until you see her in person … I guarantee that she will take your breath away!

Apophyllite is an awesome stone for seeing the truth in all situations and it bridges the physical and spiritual realms.  It helps us understand with clarity how the realms relate.  It facilitates astral travel, but with an important addition: we can remember where we have been and can bring back the significance of the journey – no sense going if you don’t enjoy the road. Her scolecite aspects clear away negativity and bad energies, outstanding in a healing or Reiki practice to prepare the patient and connect the patient with higher Self. This is a wonderful journeying Spirit and will permit us to travel through time and space, savoring and relishing every instant of that trip.  She would be awesome in a crystal healing or Reiki practice where she can be placed on the Heart Chakra to fully penetrate the patient and activate the healing.  I guarantee she will become a favorite!  A work of caution – scolecite is delicate and fragile, so she isn’t appropriate to sleep with.  I will do my very best to wrap her carefully, but there will be some breakage of the scolecite in shipping.  This will do her no harm – just add the little scolecite needles to a tiny bowl on your crystal altar!

Frosty, Icy, Minty Green Apophyllite with Antenna-Like Scolecite Spray

This wondrous crystal is an utterly amazing array of variety, sparkle, glitter and intense energy!!  First, she is from Dal’negorsk, Russia, weighs 1 oz and measures 1.6" by 1.2" by 0.8”. She is terminated all over including at the base where she blends with a bit of siderite and siderite keys.  Her top is a series of almost elestial and nearly prismatic apophyllite crystals, flashing shy rainbows, and brilliant in their crystalline expression ... and she's hot red under ultraviolet light!  Stunning, stunning, stunning!  I am astounded, amazed and in awe of the beauty of this cluster … topped only by the intensity of the energy that she generates!

This is part of a new shipment of wonderful crystals from Russia and I have to admit to being totally ga-ga still months after unpacking the first one!  I truly love the intensity of this cluster – a study in contrasts.  The apophyllite enhances elements of higher Self that spawn discovery and intuition. Siderite would appear to be grounding because of its color, but indeed, it functions much the same way as the apophyllite, but brings in elements of the physical as opposed to the ethereal.  And, it is symbolic of the process we go through in setting up a communication with our Higher Self.  It begins with the physical, often with a profound healing challenge such as a serious illness or accident.  In the healing process, we learn that we are more than our physical Self and begin to expand our mind in order to facilitate the healing.  As we grow in our abilities, our Higher Self gains a larger voice and activates much more easily.  This is the Self that guides and nurtures – that teaches us to trust those “voices” inside that some call “gut feeling” or intuition.  This Spirit teaches us to truly feel with our heart and speak with the truth of the Soul!

Subtly Rainbowed Russian Apophyllite Cluster with Siderite

This Spirit is an amazement and a study in green and a perfect size for the hand.  She is 4.6 oz and 2.4” by 1.9” by 1.5” with a bit of golden healer staining on her sides and at her base contact area. Her prehnite crystals are radiating combs with a loupe, you will see areas of light, but bright, green epidote crystal that seem to wrap around the edges of the prehnite combs.  She is from Morocco, in excellent condition and positively delightful in her beauty and energy.
