This is an amazing 3.8 oz, 3.1" by 2.9” by 0.8” amethyst flower from Karur, India that is a radiating flower of elestial, undulating ‘indigo’ amethyst. A little hematite coating on the matte crystals on her back adds a touch of color there. She is whirls and swirls and radiates outward like the petals on a flower. Backlight her and see inclusions of hematite spheroids and sable-gold rutile. Her faces have marvelous glyphs on them and with a loupe, you’ll see that many of her little crystals are scepters or reverse scepters! She is a study in miniature! Her neat shape fits nicely in the palm of the hand and is such a joy to look at! The crystals fold perfectly as if they were formed specifically for holding in the hand! It is said that crystals grew in Atlantis and Lemuria like flowers and seeing her, I am convinced that legend is truth!

She comes from Karur, located in southern India and known for its lush scenery and ancient temples. Karur has been an important part of the Tamil Nadu region for hundreds of years and boasts a rich and varied history. They are known for their beautiful textiles as well as brilliant gemstone beads. In face, so much of the mine production is used to produce these beads, that little intact material ever leaves India. And the really, really good news is that my supplier was able to get me more Karurs, although the supply is totally limited now as the Asian Tsunami has destroyed the Tamil Nadu region and it’s unlikely that new production will ever come from here.

This Spirit is not like the Brazilian amethyst flowers – her energy is stronger and more pure. I tried using her over the Third Eye and rotating her – WOW! Every position has a different energy!!! And then I tried the Heart Chakra – double WOW! The Karur energy has a very unique signature and here it is, in different form and pouring forth from hundreds of points!!! This is a Spirit for one seeking the Violet Flame and wanting to experience it in its fullness. She comes with great responsibility, however, for once the Flame is activated, it is the Soul’s role to work with it in celebration of the Light. Her rutile inclusions assist in the discernment of truth, am important aspect when one is seeking and learning! She is a wonderful Spirit and a great source of enlightenment!

Glittering Rare Karur Amethyst Flower with Rutile

This is a 2” by1.3” by 1” sparkling, glittering amethyst flower from Brazil.  She is completely terminated all over with an ultra clear druse that is blushed with amethyst.  With a loupe, you’ll see cacoxinite and lepidocrosite … plus a splotch or two of albite.  She has a gentle curve and looks like some kind of fanciful crystalline animal.  She stands easily in a number of positions and my, what a treat when you check her with a loupe! She is a real sweetie and full of joy!

 

As soon as you pick her up, you see why these are called “flowers” in Brazil.  Besides the wonderful crystalline energies, they have a special call to Earth vibrations that is at once cleansing and invigorating.  These are awesome lift in a child’s room to infuse the air with happiness and are perfect for any person dealing with deep, paralyzing grief.
