This is an absolutely gorgeous green fluorite cluster weighing 7 lb 5 oz from Dal’negorsk, Russia.  She is an astounding 6.2” by 5.2” by 3.2”.  The color is an absolutely yummy mint green and she is frosted completely with a highly elestial calcite glaze.  She is a cluster of neat octahedrons whose form is not immediately evident until you look at her very closely.  Now, most fluorite octahedrons are cleaved from massive fluorite – it is a natural cleave and that is fluorite’s normal crystalline shape.  It’s just rare when you see that shape displayed in a piece, particularly such a large and wondrous one!  The octahedrons are stacked and at least an inch or more except for a tiny cluster of frosted white ones.  They cascade one over the other like a kind of elestial fluorite and the color will take your breath away!  She has a bit of gray matrix on her base and although she is keyed on one side, you can see how she formed by folding over another thin layer of matrix.  And if you put her under black light, she glows a wonderful, soft blue!    I am in awe of this cluster – and I guarantee that she will absolutely take your breath away!

 

Fluorites allow you to put physical, emotional, intellectual and ethereal Chakras into alignment and balance, in effect, organizing your energy levels.  Green fluorite has a very special role in that it just pushes negativity away.  This Spirit is incredible placed in a room where there will be others, to soothe, calm and energize the surroundings.  She raises the room’s vibration and instills a state of Light and Love.  Generally speaking, I don’t think of fluorite as a heart stone, but when you work with this one, play an Italian opera, burn your favorite incense and prepare for an opening that will flood your Self with emotion, release and healing all at once.  She is large enough to sit on your lap with a hand on either side so that the energy sets up a circle of Love and Light.  I can’t tell you enough how significant she is!

Huge Frosted Mint Green Fluorite Octahedron Cluster for Altar

This is an absolutely gorgeous green fluorite, from Dal’negorsk, Russia, 2.9 oz and 2.3” by 1.8” by 1.1”.  The color is a clear green and the well-formed crystals look like little jello cubes atop a piece of gray Mother Earth matrix.  Tucked in between the cubes are tiny white quartz crystals, nested there like snowflakes … a fine druse of white quartz crystals dusts the top of many of the cubes as well.  And for a special treat, a black light (ultraviolet) will reveal an electric blue glow!  She is a real stunner and a wonderful energetic treat!

‘Jello Cube’ Green Russian Fluorite with White Quartz

This is an absolutely gorgeous green 6.2 gram fluorite from the famed Erongo Mountain in Namibia. She’s 0.95” by 0.65” by 0.8” and totally etched all over and rather resembles a scepter. She isn’t a true scepter - she’s an octahedron that has been etched by strong mineral acids within the Earth. A scepter is actually an overlay on an original crystal. Her surfaces are rather elestial and frosty looking and you can see that she was once twinned. The acids washed down her sides, and apparently in a stream, so that the base was worn more by the movement … and the intensity of the color in the ‘rod’ is increased, supporting this movement … and this one has a touch of purple right at the base! And as an added bonus, she is fluorescent … she turns neon blue under ultraviolet light, again, more pronounced in the ‘rod’. Now, I can’t tell you how rare these are … only about 250 have ever been found and they have been featured in the last summer’s issue of Rocks and Minerals Magazine. She is a perfect medicine pouch size and even could be wire-wrapped.

That being said, she is also a great demonstration of responding to change … she has undergone dramatic change that would have destroyed lesser crystals … and yet, it has enhanced her and made her even more beautiful!
