This is a wondrous and rare cluster, weighing 1.6 oz and measuring 1.6” by 0.8” by 0.8” and comes from Dal’negorsk, Russia. Well glyphed crystals inset with siderite and he shows considerable erosion on his sides. He fits well in the open palm of your hand and that allows you to study the details and note his subtleties as well as savor his energies.
Galena is a strange mineral looking more metallic than anything. His energies are somewhat similar to pyrite in that he is both protective and grounding, however, there is a smoothness about is energy. As you hold him, he soothes and calms, allowing your energy to align and balance as you feel the change wash over you. I love the sense of balance he instills, as if things are suddenly just fine. When I’m totally stressed, I notice that I tend to have very shallow breaths. The more stressed I am, the shallower the breathing becomes. When I consciously take a deep breath, things begin to settle down. This Spirit is that reminder – to BREATHE and to breathe slowly. As you slow down, he settles those jumbled nerves and allows a sense of renewal and energy as balance is restored and your energy centers (Chakras) totally align. I found him a precious Spirit and one that I have grown to love … and need! He is also wonderful in a crystal healing or Reiki practice to help settle high-strung or nervous patients.
He is further used as a starbrary companion … starbraries love to work with companions and they don't have to be quartz, but work with the main crystal to unlock different layers or even gain access to the crystal itself. All starbraries work like that - the companions facilitate access, although it's possible to gain access just from the starbrary itself. Likewise, this cluster is important for healing work since he can move energies on many levels in a protective and efficient manner. Use him to open up the patient to the energies of the other crystals or modalities you will use in the treatment. He is a one of a kind healing tool!
