This splendid and clear crystal is 3.9 oz and 2.86” by 1.5” by 1” and is from the Corinto mines in Brazil. She is very clear with a bit of dark green chlorite to one side, forming partial phantoms. Her sides hold minute starbrary glyphs and include a few Leo (like they were partially inscribed and not finished) and a few Cassiopeia … you will marvel at the variety and the intensity. She has an asymmetric Dow termination and two sides are by a somewhat deep and slightly angular key. Her base is healed and she is a testament to the healing process. She is in wonderful condition, save for some tiny dings, ready to work with her Keeper … and to take you to the stars!
The Dow (7-3-7-3-7-3) configuration is one of the most sought-for Master Crystals. Dows are the perfect transmitters and receivers. Threes represent Mind, Body and Soul; Life, Death, Rebirth. Sevens represent the seven frequencies of the tonal scale, the seven colors of the rainbow, the seven Chakras. Together the 7+3 equals 30: another numeric perfection: ten toes, ten fingers, etc. The sum of all the sides is 30 – another ‘3’ – in the perfection of the circle. Viewed from the top, Dows have only three faces that meet and three that add to the faceted feel.
Starbraries are recognized by the presence of glyph-like markings, symbols and geometric patterns plus usually a doorway or key. By aligning fingers with the doorways or keys, you can unlock different layers, depending on orientation. Companion crystals are important - they either come with the crystal (purchased with or given with) or appear shortly thereafter. They don't have to be quartz, but work with the main crystal to unlock different layers or even gain access to the crystal itself. All starbraries work like that - the companions facilitate access, although it's possible to gain access just from the starbrary itself. (Please see the newsletters as there are several about starbraries.
