This is a petite 0.4 oz, 1.35” by 1.2” by 0.7” very light smoky quartz from Dal’negorsk, Russia. He’s got great luster, but he’s also mist filled and you can see that he has a very old soul look. There is one main crystal with one student terminated into his side near the base and another one on the adjacent side. A third student resided on the student terminated into his side. He is also an earthquake quartz, damaged within the Earth and healed through the eons leaving a diagonal scar. And one terminal faces has these curious green horseshoe and circular markings, best studied with a loupe. Now, check out his sides – although small, he has all the typical Andromeda starbrary markings! The etchings are deep and literally cover him! He is truly amazing and a wonderful resource of star information and a perfect size for wire wrapping or medicine pouch.
Starbraries are recognized by the presence of these glyph-like markings, symbols and geometric patterns plus usually a doorway or key. By aligning fingers with the doorways or keys, you can unlock different layers, depending on orientation. Companion crystals are important - they either come with the crystal (purchased with or given with) or appear shortly thereafter. They don't have to be quartz, but work with the main crystal to unlock different layers or even gain access to the crystal itself. All starbraries work like that - the companions facilitate access, although it's possible to gain access just from the Starbrary itself.
