This is an amazing 0.5 oz, 1.35” by 1” by 0.65” amethyst flower from Karur, India that looks like a fairy castle front and back … her amethyst is concentrated in her spires and there is even a scepter among them! She fits nicely in the palm of the hand and is just a joy to look at! Inside you will see spheroids of golden healer, red spheroids of hematite and a few sprigs of rutile. It is said that crystals grew in Atlantis and Lemuria like flowers and seeing her, I totally know that is true!
When my supplier sent me these beauties, there were only 11, so I set about to find out about them and determine what made them so rare. Karur is in southern India and is known for its lush scenery and ancient temples. It has been an important part of the Tamil Nadu region for hundreds of years and boasts a rich and varied history. They are known for their beautiful textiles as well as brilliant gemstone beads. In face, so much of the mine production is used to produce these beads, that little intact material ever leaves India. And the really, really good news is that my supplier was able to get me more Karurs, well before the bead-makers, and these are so varied in form and energy – I was totally blown away and think you will be as well!
This Spirit is not like the Brazilian amethyst flowers – her energy is stronger and more pure. Her shape is triangular and I tried using her over the Third Eye and rotating her – WOW! Every position has a different energy! The Karur energy has a very unique signature and here it was, in different form and pouring forth from hundreds of points! This is a Spirit for one seeking the Violet Flame and wanting to experience it in its fullness. She comes with great responsibility, however, for once the Flame is activated, it is the Soul’s role to work with it in celebration of the Light. She is a wonderful Spirit and a great source of enlightenment!
