These are from a new find of quartz in Messina, South Africa. The famous copper mines there have been closed down for some time and all of the original quartz mined was becoming rare. New finds have opened up however, those finds have played out quickly and sadly the mines have already closed. But, I’m pleased to have gotten this last lot … the quartz is nothing short of magnificent … and it’s not all about ajoite! She is a nice, large 1 lb 0.3 oz DT crystal, 4.9” by 3.4” by 1.6”. She is clearer than she might appear initially having misting mainly to the back and she all-over glows with loving energy accented by hematite and golden healer. Check her main termination and see her subtle white phantom while her back shows where she was sheared off within the Earth eons ago and has healed into her in divine, elestial expression. Technically, she is a shard, although she retained her original termination when she was damaged … and further this piece was split and healed as well … she is a rare earthquake shard! There are the fine Lemurian lines on her sides and splendid, intricate glyphs on her sides.She is very pristine save for one little ding, but nothing effecting her beauty in the least.
