This is a hefty 1 lb 1.1 oz, pyrite cluster from the Trebca Mines in Kosovo. The pyrite is a 4” by 2.6” by 1.3” cluster of small pyrite crystals with several moonglow calcite crystals (that are hot pink under ultraviolet light) as well as bright-white crystals of dolomite. The base is flat and has a bit of iridescence suggesting chalcopyrite mixed in with the pyrite! He is positively electric and will be a super-gorgeous addition to your special change-protection altars!
Pyrite is an awesome energy – bright, strong, yang and protective. In the winter times of year, as we experience the diminishing sunlight and longer darkness, many of us begin to respond to the coming of the yin time. His dolomite facilitates you to see where you need to open more and express your Self, no matter how difficult this is. And his calcite assists adaptation to change. For many, the yin time is creative, meditative and balancing. For many who are yang deficient, this change pulls them into severe deficit and they simply need an infusion like a trip to Florida or a few hours near a full-spectrum light.
