This is a 2.3 oz, 2.6” by 1.3” by 1.2” crystal from Inner Mongolia that is most astounding! She is sort of lightbrary point with loads of students, all accented with grayish-greenish hedenburgite. These rise up around her, giving her a similar look to the lovestar quartz, only a different color and a different scale. The term, artichoke, describes the growth habit of the quartz and no one can deny that this looks like a crystalline artichoke! Her one side has a dusting of exceedingly fine druse, giving her a matte appearance and there is a specular hematite rat her base. Check out her photos and know that she is much better in person – a most unusual and energetic Spirit! She has a nice generator termination and is a perfect meditation size!
This is a crystal of incredible balance. She has an earthy-earthy feel and yet she compels you to not live in the physical alone – without the Spiritual aspects, we do not advance in this life’s expression. But, without the life’s expression, the psyche is trapped into reliving the same lesson, lifetime after lifetime. This Spirit encourages her Keeper to explore all that this earth has to offer – to savor the wonder of waterfalls, the mystery of the rainforest, the compulsion of the sea, the paradox of the mountains and the infinite expression of all life forms. To eat an artichoke, you peel off the leaves, one by one, eating the small portion at the base of the leaf, until you reach the “choke” and the heart. The heart is rich and wonderful and the choke is nearly inedible – symbolic of each of our “searches” in life – we will always find chokes and hearts, but must learn to extract what we need and get to the heart. In knowing what is truly in the heart, we bridge the physical and the Spiritual and can make that important integration. This Spirit is an important new class of crystalline Spirits appearing now to help each of us in our own personal quests. Is she right for you?
