This is a 4.7 oz, 3.8" by 1.4" by 1.2", witch finger quartz wand that is nearly opaque with white tremolite, green actinolite and florets of mica. There is one spot where you can see the tremolite inclusions while the remaining areas appear in small patched on there sides, accented by areas of golden healer. These amazing quartz, from Zambia, are smoky and look craggy and rugged. Because of their finger-like shape and ‘warts’, they are called ‘witch fingers’. Her warts are tiny and Lemurian lines mingle among her other inclusions … and the tiny mica flakes are sparkly! Her base is healed and rounded and looks pretty much the same as the sides. In spite of being a witch finger, she is really quite enchanting! One face is obliterated and healed, but otherwise, she is quite excellent.
These quartz are not high up on the beauty scale (unless, like me, you adore really unusual quartz), but as soon as you pick her up, you realize that the beauty she holds is in her extraordinary energy … plus she is actually on the beautiful side for witch fingers! She teaches you to look beneath the surface and savor all you find. She also is wonderful for restoring balance and is the best crystal I’ve ever found for stimulating psychic abilities – bar none! I am always tucking crystals under the pillow and found that she really generated some extraordinary dreams (you’ll have to place her nearby or you’ll know first hand how Wilma Flintstone felt!). None the less, she has many places for finger positions and energy adjustment, and is absolutely awesome for personal meditation. Worlds open up, one after the other as you move your hand about between the warts … and don’t worry … the warts aren’t contagious!
