This is old stock from a find in Brazil and this 1.7 oz, 2.8” by 1” by 1” DT quartz is both astounding and profound. When you first look at her, she looks shades of blotchy gray, but on closer inspection, you see sparkle, texture and variety. Inside, there is a mixture of what looks like goethite and white chlorite, giving her a soft gray and white, sparkly, fluffy internal texture. Now, I thought at first she had black tourmaline in her, but it’s actually olenite, a boron-rich colorless tourmaline. Little goethite mounds appear on surfaces and partially coat the tourmaline, making it look silver-gray in areas. There is a large stargazer student that serves to bifurcate her with several other students, scattered down that same side. On the other side, there is a cross-wise key and a few patches of cream-colored calcite. Her terminations host a multitude of record keepers on her faces and fascinating glyphs on her sides! A loupe is a must as there is so much to see … including the little manifestors caught up amongst the olenite! She is truly magnificent in every way and her few little dings are of no significance at all!

Her goethite and chlorite are protective, clearing and highly energetic and her olenite, being colorless, takes on the vibrations of all of the colors of tourmaline. Like colorless quartz, it is the “utility hitter”, a perfect synthesis of all that is tourmaline. What this means is that this crystal is totally about opening the Etheric Chakra but without blocking or diminishing the energies of the others.
