Topaz Spirits

This is an arrival from Brazil and each is characterized by a prominent secondary growth of quartz that adds lepidocrosite and/or rutile in that growth. This one is gorgeous sort of light smoky DT quartz with a darker smoky secondary growth, weighing 1 lb 1.1 oz and measuring 4.4” by 3.2” by 1.6” and is a very light smoky. There is a single very large crystal with the main termination that holds a significant secondary growth as does one of the small students comprising the base termination. The glyphs are amazing and with a loupe, you can see a bit of lepidocrosite and rutile inside. The base termination glitters from an assortment of students, although there is a ding to one side that in no way diminishes either the beauty or energy for this magnificent, altar-sized Spirit!
