Topaz Spirits

This is a petite and unusual 0.8 oz, 1.45” by 0.95” by 0.85” quartz generator from Madagascar that is a study in contrast, texture, color and energy. First, around here base, she is matte finish and is edged with hematite and golden header stained students arranged lightbrary style around her and interrupted by the occasional key. All but one her faces are polished so that your can see the phantom within. That unpolished face has a deep etching that is filled with tiny stargazer crystals! During her formation, a thin layer of quartz overlaid her, giving her a most interesting phantom effect. Hematite was trapped between the base crystal and the overlay and formed milky areas as well as a series of pointillist deep red dots, almost like the spots on a leopard. She is a wonderful Spirit to study with a loupe to savor her intricacy!

Hematite quartz is awesome for work with the Primal Chakra, the Chakra where we hold all of our beliefs, our attachment to “tribe” and family, our survival instincts and the initiation of all our healing efforts. Carrying or working with hematite in quartz helps us maintain a healthy flow of energy in this critical Chakra, enabling integration of the Spiritual achievements into our physical expression. Her many contrasts and expressions demonstrates how even with family, we can be different and it is this difference that is both sacred and exhilarating.
