This is a 2.1 oz positively glittering cluster of tiny chalcopyrite crystals sitting on a flat base of quartzite and calcite. A feel tiny crystals of calcite feature on one edge of the cluster. He measures 2.4” by 1.9” by 0.7” and you won’t believe the colors! Sadly, they are more visible in person and using a loupe as the camera made the “glitter” look a bit dull - you won’t be disappointed by the glitter when you open the package! Often called ‘peacock ore’, chalcopyrite is similar to pyrite except copper replaces the iron and causes or the rainbow display. This Spirit is from Kosovo and is in excellent condition!
