This is an incredible 9.2 oz, 4.2” by 2.8” by 1.7” intricate and mysterious quartz from São José da Safira, Brazil. She is a special kind of elestial called “changeling” quartz because the entire crystal is a response to changes within the earth with weird, multi-terminated growth patterns and the strange formations. Her general color is kind of a light golden smoky and she has no clarity. Crystals of cleavelandite punctuate her surfaces and quite a number of dark chrome green tourmaline rods add to the effect. It’s a bit hard to see the true tourmaline color but a loupe will help you see it well. She is utterly beautiful and unique, but was a very difficult subject to photograph. I’m sure when you meet her in person, her beauty will take your breath away … there is so much to explore and she has so much to say!
This Spirit not only intensifies those energies, but epitomizes change. Changelings are those who draw from their total source of inner strength during times of stress and literally become something else, but without losing that center core of knowing who they really are. Native American hunters “became” the buffalo so that they could get close to the herd during the hunt. Others became the eagle so that they could locate the herds. It is possible for each of us to allow our consciousness to take another form so as to give us a different perspective, additional insight or more information, beyond what our own senses provide. That is the nature of this Spirit – she assists you in finding that aspect of Self that can run with the buffalo or soar with the eagle. It is a skill that can be learned and mastered with practice and dedication. She is a ready teacher for her Keeper. But keep in mind that she is a decidedly strong working crystal, not content to sit on the shelf, waiting. Remember, change IS her nature. She is a Change Master as well as an adaptor, a first responder and a Guide. Her tourmaline serves to accelerate and activate the process, particularly with heart issues. Accept her as a companion only if you are ready for that critical next step in your Spiritual development and only if you will work diligently with her to realize your role as a Light Worker. She is meant for one who is now questioning that role and looking for a sign that they are on the right path. Allow her to show you that there is no other path!
