This is a petite and and golden healer-accented, 1.1 oz 1.85” by 0.95” by 0.7” crystal with healed base from the Serra Do Cabral Mountains in Brazil. Her sides bear Lemurian lines as well as some stepping and her lightning strike begins at the base and traverses up along a side edge. That edge location made it a challenge to photograph but you will easily see the strike in person. Even though small, you will simply not believe how special she is! She is ready to work with a special Keeper, eager to use her electric energy in meditations and healing. She has some tiny dings of no significance.??My first lightning strike quartz actually happened to me. I had a particularly intense meditation and at the end, I went to set the crystal on the table as I got up. The room was dark and as I reached for the table, there was a flash of light and an audible pop and I felt a piece of the crystal hit my palm! This was some time ago and I'd never heard of lightning strike quartz, so I thought the crystal was ruined! There was a gash running nearly her whole length, all cross-hatched. She was extraordinarily hot too! I emailed a friend and she explained what had happened – and my quartz was far from ruined – she is one of the most intense crystals that it has been my privilege to know – and she is a perennial meditation favorite!
I love the feel of this crystal – gentle, but compelling; sweet but insistent; bright, but suffuse; calming, but electric. Now, I know that all sounds like opposites, but what she is about is balance. It seems we spend out lives in one arena or the other, but it’s important that blend the two in all that we do. You’ll find that once you both see and experience the balance, it will be hard to go back the other way. Melody first wrote about the lightning strike quartz and identified why these wonderful Spirits were so marked. From a scientific perspective, I understand what happened – quartz is piezoelectric meaning that it actually generates electricity when under pressure. That's why they use quartz in watches and other electronic items. When the pressure builds, the electricity has to discharge and it cause this characteristic zig-zag in the quartz. I also understand that lightning discharges near the crystal beds will do this as well – same principle. These are rare Spirits and truly are one of profound change. Profound! This is a Spirit for a Light Worker moving into a critical path of growth. She is truly astounding and meant for one Light Worker and one only who will recognize her immediately! This is a very auspicious formation for such a powerful crystal! It allows us to focus and concentrate on what must be done. This Spirit is serious about having work to do and is perfect for the beginner to the adept Light Worker because of the many levels of energy and the ease with which she focuses and amplifies it. Her new Keeper will be amazed and astonished by power of this Spirit! Strongly recommended: work with hematite, black tourmaline or obsidian in the pocket for grounding.
