This large-sized and truly unique quartz is from Messina, South Africa. The famous copper mines there have been closed down for some time and all of the original quartz mined was becoming rare. New finds have opened up and the quartz is nothing short of amazing, although sadly, these mines too have closed too making these quartz treasures to savor. This Spirit is 1 lb 11.4 oz, 4.3” by 3.3” by 3.3” DT quartz covered with an amazing amount of small crystals with colors of pale pink and pale green. When you explore her, you will note several crystal caves that give her presentation a very unique look. Each side is distinctly different with some being crystal filled and others being rather flat. With a loupe, you will see inclusions of both epidote and piedmontite along with golden healer accents … a colorful beauty!
