She is from a newly-found lot of quartz in Messina, South Africa. The famous copper mines there have been closed down for some time and all of the original quartz mined was becoming rare. New finds opened up, only to have closed within a year but the quartz from them is nothing short of amazing! I have been digging out unusual Messinas and this is indeed, one of those. This one is 1.9 oz and 2.5” by 0.95” by 0.9” and she is misted with an internal white area that goes a bit more than half up inside that side. Her base is raw and somewhat slanted with a few inclusions of dark hematite. But check her with a loupe and you will see some hexagonal keys with golden healer in them! There are also tiny points still embedded, also with vivid golden healer. Check her terminal faces and you will see glyphs as well as trigonic record keepers. She has a tiny nick at one side of her terminal apex but otherwise she is quite excellent.
