This is an absolutely astounding 12.2 oz cluster from the Balkans in Kosovo, measuring 3.9” by 3.1” by 1.2” and oh, what a glittering and diverse beauty! First, she is a series of white, glittering mounds of calcite crystals (that glow HOT pink under UV light) atop a base of metallic black sphalerite. I suspect that the druse of calcite formed over the terminations of the sphalerite, creating the lovely landscape you see now. This one is positively loupe-worthy as there is so much to see and enjoy! She is a mineral mélange and a gorgeous one!
