This partially matte quartz is from Serra do Cabral, Brazil, weighs 2.6 oz and measures 2.9” by 1.15” by 0.9”. This is a most curious crystal in that there is a matte only on two sides while the rest are lustrous, although all sides hold starbrary glyphs. A loupe will help you see them well. Interestingly, a rather squat five-sided terminal face has an indent that has filled with teeny-tiny quartz-druse crystals that are backed by a neat, green chlorite phantom! One side holds two small dings, but otherwise the point is in excellent condition.
