This is a new arrival and a very unusual crystal from Bahia, Brazil. These quartz were polished as there was a “skin” on the outside that was blocking the “show” inside. This is a slender tower, 3.6 oz and 2.9” by 1.4” by 0.8” with a blush of amethyst at the base and four, layered brownish-ish phantoms traveling up among the little rainbows inside. Now, take a UV light and shine on it and voila … the phantoms glow orange! The phantoms are from Powellite which is rare in this location. The vein where these were mined has already played out, so this is a very special crystal!
