This is a 1 lb 2.3 oz, 4.65” by 2.4” by 3", twinned witch finger quartz that is nearly opaque with white tremolite, green actinolite and florets of mica. There are a few small spots where you can see the tremolite inclusions while the remaining areas appear greenish with golden healer. These amazing quartz, from Zambia, are smoky, craggy and rugged. Because of their finger-like shape and ‘warts’, they are called ‘witch fingers. The warts are tiny and subtle Lemurian lines cover the sides and the mica makes the surfaces sparkly! The base is healed and flat with a few students edging it and the twinned pair will stand securely on that base. The twin at the main crystals side was actually broken off within the earth but has healed through the eons. There is a thumb-tip sized healed “dig” to the side joining the twins. In spite of the looks, this is a totally unique cluster and a rare one at that as the mine it came from is totally played out.
