This cute and petite crystal is from the tail end of the tangerine quartz mines in Brazil as these areas have reverted to eucalyptus forest. This is a totally sweet dreamy and baby-sized 1.2 oz DT tabby crystal, 2.25” by 1.2” by 0.5”. The color is a relatively peachy-tangerine with a number of little students to the back. There is a nice clarity with subtle Lemurian lines. The faces show an array of subtle glyphs suggesting the development of the “dragon scale effect” typical of the larger pieces of this quartz. With tangerine quartz, the color is derived from hematite that was deposited on the outside … on this one, it was pinned on the inside, between the layers, which gives the color an ethereal feel The crystal is in excellent condition and I guarantee it will take your breath away! She is a perfect size for pocket or medicine pouch.
