This is a golden-looking 7.5 oz, 2.9” by 2.3” by 2” “colony” of chalcedony bubbles. This is a typical botryoidal chalcedony and all the bubbles are very distinctive. You can literally see how, geologically, this cluster was formed.The sides show the “waves” and the tops of the bubbles glitter with teeny-tiny crystals of quartz. These are found around the river beds located near Nashville, Tennessee.
