This is an unusual and large 1 lb 1.3 oz calcite from a cave in Trenggalek, Indonesia, 4” is a nice gold, totally healed crystal. With a UV light, the cluster shows patches of a very pale and soft yellow-green. The fluorescence is from a very, very minute quantity of uranium ions that are so minute that they will not register on a Geiger counter, so there is no worry of radiation. These are special and rare calcites!
