This is an unusual Inner Mongolian quartz wand that is more unusual than others in from lot. The wand is 1.6 oz and 3.35” by 1.5” by 1.25” with two side students and partially-healed base. When sitting on my desk, it looks quite gray and homely but when backlit, there is a slight greenish-gray cast (the green from hedenbergite) and a reddish-orange termination (from hematite)! It is a truly unusual effect … like a glowing candle inside! The sides are etched and very tactile as the etchings form glyphs. The larger student has a small ding to the side and is partially covered with a very thin whitish film. The second student is a little baby that has a tiny student off it … but it’s isn’t attached to the tabby … it is actually within the main crystal! Use a loupe to totally savor the splendor!
