When I opened the box containing crystals from this shipment many years ago, I almost fell over … the quartz clusters sat there, decorated in “jewels” of bright green epidote. With a loupe, you will see rods and blades of hematite inside! In spite of how things might first appear, the cluster is a clear, but opalescent Chinese quartz … and a DT at that! It looks to be a floater as there are no keys around the sides or contact areas. The faces are beautifully glyphed although it was hard to capture that with the camera as there are so many faces that the light never seemed to hit right. This unique cluster weighs 10.1 oz and measures 4.2” by 2.9” by 1.5” and sits well in the palm of your hand. You will be astounded with the variety … most definitely loupe-worthy.
