This is a 1.5 oz, 1.95” by 0.8” by 10.6” tangerose red quartz from Brazil. These quartz were isolated to a single find among tangerine quartz from the Diamantina mines, except rather than that juicy orange color, they were shades of coral and rose. Hematite, in its wondrous flexibility of expression, has given them their unique color. Sadly, the mine has since played out and closed, so no more of these luscious Spirits are available. But as the mine got deeper and deeper, the color likewise became deeper and the tangerose red were the very last of the crystals out of the mine! This one a key up the side and a really strange termination … with an extra facet! Starbrary glyphs (including round ones) feature on the sides and the Lemurian lines are accented by the red! This is a real sweetie!
