This is a hefty but beautiful icicle quartz from Madagascar weighing 9.3 oz and measuring 5” by 1.9” by 1.15”. Both terminations are polished as is a small bit of one side. These are crystals extracted from large clusters and if you think of the icicles you remember from winter climates, this quartz definitely has that look although this one is heavy enough that it doesn’t have that house-icicle shape. The sides are keyed all around and they show Lemurian lines. This truly-lovely crystal is light-bright and in excellent condition!
