This is a DT “snow” quartz from Brazil, 0.7 oz and 2.1” by 0.65” by 0.5”. The snow is kaolinite that forms a interesting patterns on the sides and the “white” is more light beige that is formed into interesting patterns within the quartz. A small, deepish key to one side shows that the crystal is actually smoky and a deep key at the lower termination shows light smoky. There is a little student on one side and the rather “ragged” look to the sides is from former students that once resided there … the crystal is really in excellent condition!
