This is a somewhat oddly-shaped, but beautiful icicle quartz from Madagascar weighing 4.4 oz and measuring 5.05” by 1.75” by 1.05”. Both terminations are polished but the sides are heavily-keyed. These are crystals extracted from large clusters and if you think of the icicles you remember from winter climates, you can easily see how these crystals got their name. These heys literally cover the crystal and show Lemurian lines. It’s interesting too that the one area juts out a but and offered a perfect place to rest a thumb when holding the crystal!
