This neat cluster was among those that my supplier called “Inspiration Quartz”. It’s rather odd-looking with its flat back and quartz points looming towards the side. It comes from Bahia, Brazil and is 8.7 oz and 4” by 2.8” by 2”. In the inspiration quartz, the characteristic gold and green colors come from actinolite inclusions with one crystal holding the green and the gold features at the base of the smaller crystals. The back is quartz druse mixed with albeit. This is a nice and fascinating piece!
