This is an arrival from Brazil that will dazzle you! It weighs 10.1 oz and is 3.5” by 2” by 1.7” and is a highly glossy and utterly clear. I named this “labyrinth quartz” quartz as there are so many ways to study them with each side of the crystal displaying a different perspective. A labyrinth is a special space and contrary to what you might think, it is not a maze. A maze is a complex branching puzzle that includes choices of path and direction and often has multiple entrances and exits … and many dead ends. If you choose the wrong path, you have to go back to the beginning and start again so only one path leads to the goal. A labyrinth has only a single, non-branching path that leads to the center then back out the same way, with only one entry/exit point, so all points lead to the goal. This crystal has a healed base and a unevenly-layered termination with a single trigonic record keeper. There are two students tight to a side with their terminations infringing the adjacent side. These two students form the upper part of an elongated heart shape of a fracture to one side. The fracture is not separated or separating … just throwing some nice rainbows! There is a key on another side where a student once resided. There is a slightly slanted and well-healed base and the crystal is in excellent condition.
