SHIPPING AND PAYMENT POLICIES
Preferred shipping in the US is PRIORITY MAIL. Insurance is optional: please let me know if you would like insurance prior to paying and I will invoice accordingly. Parcel post and Express shipping are available on request. Very large items will be shipped either by Fed-Ex or UPS. PayPal now requires all shipments having a value over $750 (domestic or international) must have signature confirmation. Outside the US, shipping is by first class mail (for shipments less than 4 lbs and under $400 in value) and Priority Mail (for shipments more than 4 lbs OR over $400 in value). Both Priority and Express Mail are available for shipping packages of any weight upon request. I will gladly provide proof of all shipping to you, but Topaz Spirits is not responsible for shipping losses outside the US or for any customs delays. Topaz Spirits is not responsible for any customs or VAT charges. The customs declaration will be for the total value of the items invoiced per US law. PLEASE CHECK ALL INFORMATION YOU ENTER ON THE ORDER FORM AS WELL AS PAYPAL CAREFULLY - NAME, ADDRESS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, EMAIL! I use this information to invoice and create labels so it is critical that all be correct! Topaz Spirits is NOT responsible for the cost of reshipment of your order if the order form and PayPal do not match unless arrangement is made prior to invoicing. If in doubt, visit the USPS page and it has rates for US and foreign for reference. Note that there is a handling charge of $3 for foreign shipments and $1 for US shipments.
As a further note, I recycle boxes wherever possible ... saving the world one box at a time!
Payment is expected when an item is invoiced unless other arrangement is made. All invoices will be billed through PayPal. I don't take credit cards except through PayPal. Personal checks or money orders are acceptable. Also note that PayPal will extend credit for six months via their website.
LAY-AWAY AND OPEN BOXES:
I no longer do open boxes or lay-aways as these have been badly abused. My apologies to those who respected the courtesy extended them.
It is important that the Keeper and the crystal resonate. If they do not and you want to return the crystal, I have a no questions asked policy. Let me know that you will be returning the crystal, pop it in the mail and I will refund your purchase price as soon as I receive the crystal. All I ask is that you return it within five days of receipt and in the condition the crystal was received. Returns will not be accepted after that time.
