This is a mysterious arrival is a nice quartz from Diamantina, Brazil, 4.8 oz, 3.75” by 1.7” by 1.1”. With a loupe, you will see tiny hematite spheroids inside serving as a backdrop to the druse of little crystals on two sides. Another side hosts a raised area and some strange “slash” marks on the raised area. With a loupe, you will see a number of tiny Ursa Minor starbrary glyphs along with some strange ones. Another two sides share a very shallow and well-healed key and another side a small one. Her main termination has one dominant eight-sided face with the rest being rather small. And she has four extra facets … two on the left side of the dominant face and one under two on one of the smaller faces! She is very unusual and in excellent condition.
