This is an unusual 2.9 oz, 3” by 1.25” by 1” crystal from Bahia, Brazil with a healed base. When backlit, her lovely violet amethyst (her inner beauty) is evident but without the backlight, she is dominated by a secondary growth that makes her look grayish. Her termination is rather slate-colored and spiky … it’s the only way I can describe it as she is actually multi-terminated and the terminal faces are well-glyphed. Several keys surround her base giving her an ice cream coned appearance. The whole effect is simply breathtaking and she is in excellent condition.
