This is an arrival from Bahia, Brazil … a luminous amethyst wand with tabby-esque and altar-sized looks,15.1 oz and 6.5” by 2.3” by 1.7”. These are carefully separated from large clusters and unlike many of the amethysts with “stocky” crystals, these Spirits are long and thin. The crystals may also show some chevroning, as this one does, with a very subtle amethyst phantom featuring in her base. She is gently spiral-keyed all around with a small area of white quartz “frosting”. There are interesting, but oh so subtle markings, on the faces, almost like a crystalline fingerprint. She has a few tiny dings but she is otherwise excellent in her royal purple dress!
