This is a 3.5 oz, 3.25” by 2.3” by 1.5” hematite-capped quartz cluster from Corinto, Brazil. This is a most unusual cluster in that the hematite is included within the quartz below the cap, but it’s just enough to make the clear quartz look smoky. With the loupe, you will see the little spheroids. There is one larger, dominant crystal and the cap looks like a reverse phantom on that one. Beside it, there is a DT crystal. The base is totally healed and glittering with tiny points as well as a crystal-cave dominated area with many caves. Some have a bit of golden healer stained calcite. Inspect the terminal faces and you will find a record keeper or so. I see one very small ding, but otherwise she is excellent!
