This is an incredible 9.2 oz, 4.2” by 2.8” by 1.7” intricate and mysterious quartz from São José da Safira, Brazil. She is a special kind of elestial quartz because the entire crystal is a response to changes within the earth with weird, multi-terminated growth patterns and the strange formations. Her general color is kind of a light golden smoky and she has no clarity. Crystals of cleavelandite punctuate her surfaces and quite a number of dark chrome green tourmaline rods add to the effect. It’s a bit hard to see the true tourmaline color but a loupe will help you see it well. She is utterly beautiful and unique, but was a very difficult subject to photograph. I’m sure when you meet her in person, her beauty will take your breath away … there is so much to explore!
