When I opened the box containing crystals from this shipment many years ago, I almost fell over … the quartz clusters sat there, decorated in “jewels” of bright green epidote. With a loupe, you will see rods and blades of hematite inside! In spite of how she might first appear, she is a clear, but opalescent Chinese quartz … and a DT at that! She looks to be a floater as there are no keys around her sides or contact areas. Her faces are beautifully glyphed although it was hard to capture that with the camera as there are so many faces that the light never seemed to hit right. She weighs 10.1 oz and measures 4.2” by 2.9” by 1.5” and sits well in the palm of your hand. You will be astounded with her … most definitely loupe-worthy.
