This is a gleaming 5.1 oz, 3.35” by 2.1” by 1.45” very light smoky quartz cluster from the Grimsel Pass in Switzerland, a very rare location. He has areas of dark green chlorite all sitting atop a druse-covered quartzite base. With a loupe, you will see tiny, dark smoky quartz crystals and inside the clarity of his top crystals, ultra-thin needles of rutile! The crystals are varied in expression, some utterly clear while others are matte, some large, some tiny … he is a study in and of himself! He is in awesome condition!
