This isn unusual Inner Mongolian quartz wand that is more unusual than others in this lot. She is 1.6 oz and 3.35” by 1.5” by 1.25” with two side students and partially-healed base. When sitting on my desk, she looks quite gray and homely but when backlit, she has a slight greenish-gray cast (the green from hedenbergite) and a reddish-orange termination (from hematite)! It is a truly unusual effect … like a glowing candle inside! Her sides are etched and very tactile as the etchings form glyphs. Her larger student has a small ding to the side and is partially covered with a very thin whitish film. Her second student is a little baby that has a tiny student off it … but it’s isn’t attached to the tabby … it is actually within the main crystal! Use a loupe to totally savor her splendor! She is really splendid and unusual!
