This is a dark-looking 1 oz, 1.8” by 0.95” by 0.8” “colony” of chalcedony bubbles from Morocco. She is a typical botryoidal chalcedony … a “boiling”, bubbling crystalline liquid, frozen in time, but beautifully expressed … and in her case the bubbles form a kind of barbell joined together. When you first look at her, she appears shades of very dark gray … but when backlit, her golden-brown nature reveals itself. All the bubbles are very distinctive and you can literally see how geologically, she was formed. This is a delightful pair!
