Sapphire comes from all over the world, but amazingly, it is a true rarity in Brazil and this one is a blue DT pocket-sized crystal, 2.1 oz and 1.6” by 1.45” by 0.75” from Bahia, Brazil. The miners usually treat them with oil to make the blue “pop” but this one is completely untreated … her shades of blue colors “pop” without any other effort! She looks a bit misshapen but there is a key to one side that gives her a kink and she is a nice etched and glyphed piece. She shimmers in the light mica embedded on two sides and base. She is terminated all over and in excellent condition.
