This quartz is part of a find from the Kullu Pass in Northern India, Gateway to the Himalayans and home to many temples. The color is deepest (but still light) in the lower half of the crystal while the upper portion leans towards “blush. The pink color comes from hematite and not from titanium as true rose quartz does. She is strangely configured and exceedingly intricate as the result of the mineral acids that poured over her when the ice and snow receded. You can see that she is heavily growth interfered and dips in the middle. Her lower termination is golden healer accented while the upper shows four partial faces, two of which have a trigonic record keepers on them. The terminal apex is flat and she sings when handled! She is in excellent condition, weighs 5.1 oz and measures 4.1” by 1,5” by 1.3”.
