This is an arrival from Bahia, Brazil and so atypical of the quartz I carry. This is a
pseudomorph of goethite after quartz, so has the shape of a quartz crystal but has been
completely replaced by goethite which gives her some very interesting and unique
attributes being totally black and opaque with the sides having a texture very different
texture than quartz. One side has sort of a has golden healer wash and another has a
slim swath.The textures carry up onto the terminal fasces. Each of these quartz has a
bit of different arrangement pattern with a flattish base with a bit of the golden healer.
This quartz weighs 15.1 oz and measures 4.6” by 1.9” by 1,7 and is in perfect condition.
