This is an incredibly beautiful 3.27 gram crystal of tourmaline 1.25” by 0.4” by 0.4” and has a torch-like shape. This beauty comes from Paraiba , Brazil and is named for the Paraiba mines that first produced this neon blue tourmaline. Copper contributes the unique color and this crystal is pink in the center and blue on the outside. With a loupe, you will see little perpendicular striations and a series of little golden mica inserts into the crevices. In spite of the small size, you will find yourself constantly going to the loupe to explore this lovely and unique tourmaline crystal!
