This is a fascinating Japanese Law Twin witch finger quartz, 2.8 oz, 2.4” by 2” by 1.2”. The two main crystals are joined at the base and are the Japanese Law Twins with several students to the back. Witch finger quartz has inclusions of white tremolite, green actinolite and flashy mica both inside and out. The mica gives the mini-cluster the sparkly look. These amazing quartz, from Zambia, are smoky and look craggy and rugged. Because of the finger-like shape and “warts”, they are called “witch fingers”. They are attractive all on their own unique way and studying with a loupe will show you their attributes!
