This is a special green garnet crystal from Mali, 4.5 oz and 1.85” by 1.8” by 1.45”. This crystal is what I call ultra-keyed (in that only about half of the sides show … the rest is keys) with a small area of shining calcite. As a result of all the keys, you can see the green core much more clearly, contrasted with the deep brown “skin”. The brown is actually from included rutile! Thus is a wondrous and large crystal that is in excellent condition.
